The Dashboard is what you see once logged in to PEF. If you Save Searches, or Build Custom Lists, you can quickly access that info here. You can also see the most recently updated and added firms as well.
This is the heart of our application and where you begin your private equity firm search. As you can see, we separate firm characteristics (size, location, etc.) from investment characteristics (sectors, geographies, transaction types). Easily search firms via one or both.
View your search result set here. You can quickly sort results by Name, Location, # of Portfolio Investments, # of Professionals, or Assets (in USD). You can also change to 'Snapshot' view. 'Snapshot' view allows you to quickly read through firm descriptions without clicking through to full firm profiles. Easily Save or Export search results as well.
Each firm profile is split into three sections - 'Firm Details', 'Portfolio', and 'Key Personnel'. The 'Firm Details' page contains a summary on the firm as well as a full investment criteria breakdown. Quickly see what sectors a firm has invested in, as well as geographic preferences and target company size ranges. If you're working on a project and want to save specific firms for later review or outreach, you can easily do this with our 'Add to Project List' feature, which allows you to save individual entries one at a time.
The 'Portfolio' page breaks down a firm's list of investments. Quickly sort by Name, Industry, or Current vs Exited. Similar to our 'Add to Project List' feature for individual private equity firms, you can add individual portfolio records to project lists as well.
The 'Key Personnel' page breaks down a firm's list of professionals. Quickly sort by Name or Title. You can allso add professionals to custom lists using our 'Add to Project List' feature.
If you want to focus your search efforts on the more than 24,000 (and growing) portfolio companies we have, you can easily do that here, on the 'Search Portfolios' page. Keyword search company descriptions and/or filter by investment status, location, and sector. You can also filter portfolio companies by parent firm characteristics. For example, want a list of all 'Business Services' companies owned by 'Small' private equity firms? No problem. Easily export the results or add portfolio companies to project lists.
The 'Search Professionals' interface allows you to directly search the more than 14,000 professionals we have listed in the database. Keyword search names and titles or filter professionals by firm type. Export the results or add professionals to project lists.
